Course Offerings

AVIPREP BASIC:

Aviprep Basic Course is a 55 hour program whose purpose is to provide vocational training and vocational pathways into the aviation industry.  The program targets participants from a range of ages, backgrounds, and experiences who have graduated high school (or have a GED). Aviation Prep creates opportunities for participants who want to learn more about, and move into, the aviation industry, specifically jobs that offer a living wage with benefits without requiring a BA degree. In addition to industry-specific knowledge, applicants receive guidance and training to acquire and practice other types of workforce skills, including filling out an online application, writing a resume, interviewing, handling conflict, setting goals, work-life balances, and effective communication.  Participants receive one-to-one counseling regarding their goals and what direction(s) they would like to proceed.  In addition, they are introduced to industry professionals.
